    Inspired by Italian design The Ridgeway Venetian Grandfather Clock bring European elegance to any home.  This round top style grandfather clock with pinched waist is finished in an aged Beaux finish with Gold leaf accents and a large Roman numeral dial.  A leaf motif crowns the top of the Venetian Grandfather Clock and also cradles the dial base.  Sleek reeded columns run along side the clock and raised ornate carvings frame the top and bottom of the door. The second tiered base also features fully turned columns with wide reeds.  The bottom Bombé shape base is deeply carved on all sides with the matching gold leaf motif. Hidden storage shelves in the mid case transform this artistic time telling accent piece into functional storage space as well. 

    The Ridgeway Venetian Grandfather Clock features a convenient quartz clock movement; a quartz movement will keep time faithfully and give you all the benefits of a traditional grandfather clock but without requiring weekly winding. The Venetian Grandfather Clock’s dual movement plays the charming Westminster & Bim Bam chimes – the traditional Westminster Chimes as heard from London’s famous Big Ben clock (click here to listen) and the classic Bim-Bam chime which strikes a "bim-bam" tone at the half-hour and then counts the corresponding hours with the same tone (click here to listen).

    This Venetian Grandfather Clock’s movement also includes a convenient automatic nighttime chime silence option and adjustable volume control. Adjustable floor levelers are located under all four corners to ensure the clock remains level on uneven surfaces or carpet. Requires one AA battery, not included.
