A truly luxurious grandfather clock, the RidgewayBelmont Grandfather Clock is finished in a Glen Arbor Cherry on select hardwoods and veneers. With no detail overlooked theBelmont Grandfather Clock'smulti-stepped arched bonnet is accented with inlays,veneers and accent bands.

The RidgewayBelmont Grandfather Clock features an oversize clock dial, framed in half inch solid wood. The clock's dial is detailed with acid etched corner spandrels and center design, and raised black Arabic numerals on the chapter ring and functioning lunar arch. A large lyre clock, with twisted rods and bob and center design, matches the dial and banded weight shells and is visible through a beautifully shaped beveled glass decorated door.

The Ridgeway Belmont Grandfather Clock features a classic cable driven clock movement, this German made brass Kieninger chime movement will keep time accurately and faithfully. This triple chime movement plays the charming Westminster, St Michaels and St Whittington Chimes --the classic Westminster Chimesas heard from London's famous Big Ben clock(click here to listen), the St. Michaels Chime which hung in a church steeple in Charleston, South Carolina in 1764 before being taken by the British during the Revolutionary War(click here to listen) and Whittington Chimes that rang in the Church of St. Mary Le Bow in Cheapside, London in the 16th Century(click here to listen).

This Belmont Grandfather Clock's movement also includes a convenient automatic nighttime chime silence option. The clock's door locks for added security, and adjustable floor levelers are located under all four corners to ensure the clock remains level on uneven surfaces or carpet.
