Finished in beautiful Indian Summer tones, the Howard Miller Timber Creek Grandfather Clock features distressing and a hand-planed look for an aged appearance. A multi-tiered flat-top pediment adds a distinctive yet casual look. An antiqued clock dial features worn black Arabic numerals and minute and sweep-seconds tracks. The corners are antique golden brown with a complementing moon arch, while the spade hands are finished in black. The rotating moon disk features artwork (The Hunter’s Return - 1845 and Home in the Woods - 1847) by American Hudson River School artist, Thomas Cole.  The brushed-nickel grid grandfather clock pendulum includes a wood insert that is finished in Worn Black and coordinates with the brushed-nickel weight shells. An interior lamp illuminates the dial for viewing in a darkened room. The pendulum and weights are accentuated with the glow from the lamp. Extra-heavy seeded glass is used in the bottom door and sides, while the top door glass is plain. The removable fret-cut top side panels with glass allow for easy access to the movement. The simple yet elegant columns include turned caps that accentuate the door. Wood pegs in the door and sides contribute to the casual, aged feeling of the design. The multi-tiered base features a decorative cut-out. 

The Howard Miller Timber Creek Grandfather Clock features a classic cable driven clock movement, a German made Kieninger movement that will keep time faithfully. This triple chime movement plays the following charming clock chimes Westminster, St Michaels and Whittington. This Kieninger made clock movement also includes an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option for added convenience. Adjustable levelers under all corners level the clock on uneven surfaces or carpet.
