The Reagan Grandfather Clock has been expertly hand crafted from select hardwoods and veneers and finished in warm, hand-rubbed Hampton Cherry. Book-matched olive ash burl graces the front and sides of the unique split pediment, lending them rich texture, and the carved urn finial and finial support add the finishing touch. This clock's elaborate dial features raised brass Arabic numerals, cast center and corner ornaments, and a moon phase. A cast center disk on the polished brass pendulum mirrors the dial, and polished brass weight shells with decorative bands add to this elegant look. Canted columns with large reeds and intricately carved caps frame the beveled glass doors. Additional flourishes include a carved molding below the dial and floral overlays framing the lower door. The multi-tiered clock base boasts canted corners, olive ash burl, wrap-around carved moldings, and uniquely carved feet. The upper side doors offer easy access to the movement and storage of the hand crank and door key.

The Howard Miller Reagan Grandfather Clock features a classic cable driven clock movement, a German made Kieninger movement that will keep time faithfully. This triple chime movement plays the following charming clock chimes Westminster, St Michaels and Whittington (click here to listen). This Kieninger made clock movement also includes an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option for added convenience. Adjustable levelers under all corners level the clock on uneven surfaces or carpet
