The design of the Howard Miller La Rochelle Grandfather Clock is inspired by traditional French and Scandinavian floor clocks, this grandfather clock is finished in Americana Cherry on select hardwoods and veneers, and features light distressing and a removable detailed crown overlay. The aged antique clock dial features distinctive Roman numerals, a convex glass crystal and additional overlays at the sides. A glass panel in the grandfather clocks door allows a view of the polished-brass-finished pendulum and weight shells. The clock base also features Bombay styling with raised recessed panels and another beautiful shell overlay gracing the cutout.

The Howard Miller La Rochelle Grandfather Clock features a classic cable driven grandfather clock movement, a German made Kieninger movement that will keep time faithfully and plays the charming Westminster chime as heard from London's famous Big Ben clock (click here to listen). The La Rochelle Grandfather Clock's movement includes an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option for added convenience. The clock's door locks for added security, and adjustable floor levelers are located under all four corners to ensure the clock remains level on uneven surfaces or carpet.

Also included with this Howard Miller grandfather clock is an exquisite brass heirloom plate (click here) which will be engraved by the Howard Miller Clock Company with your name and date – simply return the request card that will be enclosed with your clock. In addition you will also receive a brass Howard Miller Heirloom capsule (click here) with a certificate documenting your clock's history for future generations.
