A carved shell and leaf design draws the eye up to the arched pediment, which is embellished with decorative overlays on the canted corners.  Cast corners and center ornaments accent the brushed antique brass dial, which includes a silver chapter ring with applied brass Arabic numerals and an astrological blue moon phase clock dial. Mirroring the dial, the lyre clock pendulum is brushed antique brass with a decorative antique gold-finished center disk.  The lower front door features beveled glass and decorative overlays with matching shell and leaf designs, allowing you to see the inner functions of the clock. Canted, reeded columns frame the case, offering intricately carved column caps with a unique scroll design and Acanthus leaf details. The multi-tiered Bombay base has canted corners and carved scroll feet with Acanthus leaf details. If you need access to the movement, you will appreciate the removable beveled glass panels on the upper side.

This Kieninger made clock movement also includes an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option for added convenience. Adjustable levelers under all corners level the clock on uneven surfaces or carpet
