in the tradition of the Arts and Crafts Guild, famous for their handcrafted,
simple, honest, and pure design. This grandfather floor clock is finished in
Heritage Oak on select hardwoods and veneers. The cream clock dial continues
the simplicity with dark brown corner accents, numerals, and hands.
Decorative wooden moldings nicely frame the grandfather clock dial. Wooden,
reeded grilles accent the front lower door. Circular brushed brass weights
and pendulum are antiqued, along with the front locking door accessories.
The Howard Miller Greene Grandfather Clock features a
classic cable driven grandfather clock movement, a German made Kieninger
movement that will keep time faithfully and that plays the charming
Westminster chime as heard from London’s famous Big Ben clock
(click here to listen)). The Greene Grandfather Clock’s movement includes
a convenient chime silence option. The clock’s door locks for added
security, and adjustable floor levelers are located under all four corners
to ensure the clock remains level on uneven surfaces or carpet.
