    The Howard Miller Cosmopolitan Grandfather Clock is finished in Merlot Cherry on select hardwoods and veneers; this sleek, radial-shaped floor clock was inspired by contemporary European designs. Framed by brushed nickel-finished moldings at the top and bottom, the Cosmopolitan Grandfather Clock’s case wraps around an elegant full-length curved glass door. The porcelain-like clock dial features crisp black contemporary numerals, black hour and minute hands, and a brushed-nickel bezel. A brushed-nickel  grandfather clock pendulum and brushed-nickel finished weight shells complement the molding. A glass panel built into the top of the case allows light to enter the clock and naturally illuminate the interior.

    The Howard Miller Cosmopolitan Grandfather Clock features a classic cable driven grandfather clock movement, a German made Kieninger movement that will keep time faithfully and plays the charming Westminster chime as heard from London’s famous Big Ben clock (click here to listen). The Cosmopolitan Grandfather Clock’s movement includes an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option for added convenience. The clock’s door locks for added security, and adjustable floor levelers are located under all four corners to ensure the clock remains level on uneven surfaces or carpet.

    Also included with this Howard Miller grandfather clock is an exquisite brass heirloom plate (click here) which will be engraved by the Howard Miller Clock Company with your name and date – simply return the request card that will be enclosed with your clock. In addition you will also receive a brass Howard Miller Heirloom capsule (click here) with a certificate documenting your clock’s history for future generations.
