Finished in lightly distressed Vintage Oak, the Braden Grandfather Clock boasts a distinctive bonnet pediment with book-matched olive ash burl overlays. The brushed-satin brass clock dial features cast corner and center ornaments and a moon arch with an astrological blue moon phase. The clock dial includes a silver chapter ring with applied brass Arabic numerals. The brushed-satin brass pendulum features a center disk casting which complements the dial and brushed-satin brass-finished weight shells include bands which match the dial and pendulum.  The dial is illuminated from the front so that time can be viewed in a darkened room. The clock’s pendulum and weights are also accentuated with the glow from the lamp, adding to this clock’s beauty. Beveled glass is used in the lower door and in the bottom sides, while the shape of the pediment is carried through into the door, which features an accent molding for added interest. Removable fret-cut top side panels with glass allow for easy access to the movement. The distinctive columns feature large reeds and turned column caps. The bombe-style base design features a decorative cut-out. 

The Howard Miller Braden Grandfather Clock features a classic cable driven grandfather clock movement, a German made Kieninger movement that will keep time faithfully and plays the charming Westminster chime as heard from London’s famous Big Ben clock (click here to listen). The Braden Grandfather Clock’s movement includes an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option for added convenience. The clock’s door locks for added security, and adjustable floor levelers are located under all four corners to ensure the clock remains level on uneven surfaces or carpet.
