The Howard Miller Arendal Grandfather Clock draws inspiration from the elegant simplicity of Scandinavian clock making. This gracious grandfather clock will make a unique addition to your decor. This shapely clock has been crafted from select hardwoods and veneers with a warm and inviting Tuscany Cherry finish. It includes a convex glass crystal on the hinged top door, decorative carved accents, and a turned urn finial that provides the crowning touch. Both the finial and finial base are removable.

Aged to lend it a classic look, the clock dial includes Roman numerals, black serpentine hands, and a separate track for counting seconds. The weight shells are finished in antique brushed brass, which is echoed on the circular antique brass bob on the wooden pendulum. The middle beveled glass door defines the clock’s curved shape, and a decorative cutout and carvings enhance the sculpted base. 

The Howard Miller Arendal Grandfather Clock features a classic cable driven grandfather clock movement, a German made Kieninger movement that will keep time faithfully and plays the charming Westminster chime as heard from London’s famous Big Ben clock (click here to listen). The Arendal Grandfather Clock’s movement includes an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option for added convenience. The clock’s door locks for added security, and adjustable floor levelers are located under all four corners to ensure the clock remains level on uneven surfaces or carpet.
