The Hermle Emily Grandfather Clock features a solid wood pinch waist, an elegant swan neck crown with carved rosettes and urn center finial.  It is distinguished by four fluted, fully turned columns on the clocks hood, and two quarter turned fluted columns on waist. A lockable door adorned with the distinguished block and shell design conceals a polished bob with wooden stick pendulum. Traditional 18^th century styled ogee bracket feet and fine molding adorn the proportioned base, a true cabinet makers show piece.

An antiqued clock dial with delicate floral decoration in each corner is matched with an Arabic and Roman numeral chapter ring, and a traditional moon phase motif and a date indicator. 

The Hermle Emily Grandfather Clock features a classic cable driven clock movement, this 8-day, key-wound German made brass chime movement will keep time accurately and faithfully. Engineered in Germany, this solid brass grandfather clock movement features bronze bushings and milled ratchet wheels for extra durability and long movement life.

This triple chime movement plays the charming Westminster, St Michaels and St Whittington Chimes -- the classic Westminster Chimes as heard from London’s famous Big Ben clock (click here to listen), the St. Michaels Chime which hung in a church steeple in Charleston, South Carolina in 1764 before being taken by the British during the Revolutionary War (click here to listen) and Whittington Chimes that rang in the Church of St. Mary Le Bow in Cheapside, London in the 16th Century (click here to listen).
